Urgently required Senior QA/QC Engineer at Dubai Marine Works
Client: One of the well known Construction Co. at Dubai
Position : Sr. QA/QC Engineer
Location: Dubai
Reporting to : Project QA/QC Engineer/Manager
Experience – Minimum 10 to 15 years
Qualification : Should be qualified Engineer. The QA/QC Sr. Engineer shall hbe a qualified Engineer with minimum of 12 yrs exp. In QA/QC works in similar projects out of a minimum of 12 yrs overall experience. He should be an IRCA registered lead Auditor and shall be aware of all ISO 9008 series requirements.
Duties : The duties of the Sr. QA/QC Engineer shall include but not be limited to the following tasks.
1. Conduct and or participate in Company/Manager Quality or technical complicance audits for Contractor, Sub-Contractor or Vendors.
2. Review the contract documents for each Marine Construction package in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures and advise the Project Manager of any deficiency.
3. Review QA/QC site organization, key personnel CV’s as submitted by the Contractors and advise the Project Manager of his comments.
4. Review QA/QC procedures and document control as submitted by contractor and its sub-contractor and supplier. Besides ensuring implementation is in compliance with Agreement requirements.
5. Review inspection, test, plans as submitted by contractor and its sub-contractor and supplier. Besides ensuring compliance with agreement requirements.
6. Attend all activities on site and ensure their compliance with QA/QC procedure in respect of the format signed off by contractor’s QA/QC Manager.
7. Ensure traceability of all materials and equipment from purchasing and up to delivery on site.
8. Check all materials and equipment as delivered on site and ensure its compliance with approved materials and specification.
9. Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with PMC discipline engineers, on a daily basis issuing NCR’s in case of non-compliance and reporting to Project Manager in case of shortage of skilled labourers and/or site supervision staff.
10. Participate with PMC staff in reviewing the close out report as submitted by Contractors
11. Participate with PMC staff in assessing concession equests and field design changes as submitted by Contractor.
12. Coordinate with all disciplines/contractor’s for QA/QC and attend weekly progress meetings.
13. Present feed back to company/manager internal auditing and any other Third party auditing hired by company/manager.

Preferred experience in LTE design and CDMA 1X/EVDO networks.
Engineer RF is responsible for contributing in the RF Design of the regional cellular network. Responsibilities include: creating search areas within their geographic area of responsibility; working with the performance team to understand area and issues within his/her sector; and working with System Performance counterpart to understand issues and help reduce Lost Calls and Ineffective Attempts within their sector. Other responsibilities include: creating and supplying cell site translations; performing drive testing to evaluate search area candidate as necessary; preparing FCC/FAA and FAS submissions in a timely manner; performing radio engineering evaluation for system planning and site acquisition; beginning to identify location specific needs for new cells taking baseline, performance, capacity, and population into consideration; and evaluating coverage problems and requirements for coverage cells. Prefer BS in Engineering or Computer Science but at a minimum candidate must have a two year degree, no exceptions.
