DGP assures all steps to protect women it staff
Hyderabad, December 18:
Director General of Police (DGP) Prasada Rao has said that his department has been initiating all steps for the protection of women IT employees.
Addressing the Women IT Employees Awareness conference held at Madapur organized by the Cyberabad Police here on Wednesday, Prasada rao has said that there is need to create awareness among the women coming from rural areas seeking IT jobs on the prevailing conditions here. He said that his department has been taking all steps for the protection of women employees with the cooperation of IT companies here in the IT Corridor. He revealed that the department is installing more than 100 new CCTVs in addition to the existing CCTVs. He said that it is for the women employees to undergo training in marshal arts for the personal protection.
Later, Prasada rao flagged off to the five new vehicles which will roam in the nights in IT Corridor. (NSS)
