Owais murder case- 7 arrested, 2 absconding

Langar Houz police arrested 7 accused persons in Owais murder case whereas 2 accused namely Azhar Quadri and Mazhar Quadri, suppose to be Majlis leaders are absconding.
Owais was murdered on 26th November on the pretext of supporting Feroz Khan of Nampally Assembly Constituency. Police says that the murder took place due to personal animosity. DCP of West Zone, Mr. Satyanarayana told that 2 rowdy sheeters Mohammed Firdous and Mohammed Lateef murdered Owais with the help of his friends.
It is reported that the deceased Owais had supported Congress leader Feroz Khan and joined Congress Party with 200 supporters and he was becoming active in the area. The increasing popularity of Owais was not like by Ferdous and Lateef. They were waiting for an opportune time to damage the Congress leader. The DCP also told that Lateef was also involved in matrimonial affairs since Owais had arranged an alliance of his cousin with Mohammed Ibrahim a rowdy sheeter of Kala Pathar Police Station. Lateef opposed this alliance. Heated arguments exchanged between the two. Lateef took the help of Saleem to kill Owais. Shaik Abbas Ali who is suppose to be the friend of Faiyaz planned the murder. Lateef and Firdous discuss various issues on phone with Abbas and Owais and incited them to meet immediately and prepared a plan to kill them. Owais reached a hotel in Nanal Nagar area. Ferdous attack Owais with a knife and injured him seriously. During the attack on Owais, Meraj Husain, Mohammed Saleemuddin, Meer Shamroz Ali and Syed Ajaz were present at the time of killing whereas other accused succeeded in running away. DCP told that Firdous and Lateef are notorious rowdy sheeters. They started working for Majlis leaders Mazhar Quadri and Azhar Quadri. It is reported that Special Police teams have been constituted to arrest Mazhar Quadri, Azhar Quardi, Mohammed Ghaffar, Ali Bin Husain, Mohammed Shahbaz, Mohammed Farhan and Mohammed Salam. Police Seized dagger, mobile phones and motorcycles from the possession of the accused.
