Projector inaugurated in MANUU Model School by Dr. Khwaja M. Shahid
Hyderabad , December 18:
Muslim students are not getting education. The dropout rate among the Muslim students is higher. According to a survey, the strength of Muslim students in primary schools is more but in higher classes it gets reduced. These thoughts were expressed by Dr. Khwaja Mohammed Shahid, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University while inaugurating the projector in the seminar hall of the school. Present on this occasion was Dr. Mohammed Abdul Azeem, Associate Professor of the Dept. of Management and Commerce and Deputy Director of Civil Services Coaching Academy of MANUU.
Continuing his speech, Dr. Shahid told that this era is a competitive age. It is therefore essential for us that our preparation should be more than others. Our students should not go to the employers with BA or MA degrees but they should carry with them the expertise and competence to work. He persuaded the students to prepare for the Civil Services right from High School level. Addressing the girl students specially Dr. Shahid told that they should not lag behind with anyone.
Dr. Abdul Azeem told that Urdu medium students do not pay attention to English. It is very essential since English is an International language. The students should inculcate the habit of reading English Newspapers and talking with each other in English.
Dr. Shahid distributed prizes to the winners of interschool poster making competitions and district level baseball competition. At the end of the program, Ms. Asiya Tahsin Anjum Ara proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Syed Fatehulla Bakhtiyari conducted the meeting. Mr. Mohammed Jaan Khan, Section Officer welcome the guests.
