TITA welcomes passage of Lokpal bill
Hyderabad, December 18:
Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Founder and President Sundeep Kumar Makthala has welcomed passing of Lokpal bill in the Lok Sabha and appreciated Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare for his two-and-half-year struggle.
"The Lokpal Bill would encourage IT investments in India and add to investor confidence. A new era of transparency and accountability will usher in the country after the enactment of anti-corruption laws, he said.
“General public will benefit hugely after the enactment of Lokpal Bill as corruption comes down significantly and their grievances will be sorted out without any delay. As the real corruption was taking place at the state levels and it can only be tackled with strong authorities like Lokayuktas at the state level. It was important to have Lokayuktas at the earliest”, said Makthala.
TITA regretted Seemandhra MPs behaviour, who are not letting the house run smoothly when such an important bill is tabled. "Seemandhra leaders have to participate in the Assembly debate instead of obstructing the houses" says Ashwin Chandra, TITA General Secretary. (NSS)
